Naturism and Riding the Crimson Wave Nude: Diva Cup Review and A Giveaway!

The Diva Cup Reviewed By Felicity:
Diva Cup – fkk frankreich is for girls, particularly people who like to go unclothed! Men, if period-chat makes you uncomfortable, then keep reading šŸ˜‰
Well I came across just a little menstruation (Yeah it is like 6th grade health class all over again) merchandise awhile back called the Diva Cup. I was definitely interested to attempt it, so when I saw it on the shelf in my own local health food store, I snatched it up! The Diva Cup is a silicone-based menstrual cup that is inserted into the vagina just like a tampon. Nonetheless, instead of consuming everything, it is all gathered in the cup. You’ll be able to wear it for up to 12 hours at a time (compared to altering a tampon every few hours), and it does not leak! (Given it’s properly fit, and it might take some practice.)
Diva Cup and its carrying case
Would you dread the “ruby wave” crashing your nakation? I understand many women do, especially those new to naturism. Well I was excited to review this on my blog because that is great for nudist women! It’s so distinct, you no more have to concern yourself with an inept, observable tampon cord. Ladies, this really is a much better way to appreciate going totally naked during your period and be more relaxed and comfortable doing so. It took me a couple of days to get used to it, but the cup is actually very user friendly. I remember hearing about this type of product quite a long time ago, thinking it sounded messy and a little gross, but it’s not. Plus it is so much more suitable than tampons. (Ever been to Sandy Hook naked beach and had to trip back and forth to the toilet a mile away?) Additionally, it might take a bit of training, but it really will not leak when it’s correctly fit.
The other advantages of using the Diva Cup instead of tampons and pads are that it’s eco-friendly and saves a lot of cash. The Diva Cup folks did some computations, estimating the typical woman will use 10,000 tampons and pads in her life. That is lots of resulting waste and money. Additionally they quote some research: “More than 170,000 tampon applicators were gathered along U.S. coastal areas between 1998 and 1999.” There is so much plastic and waste that washes up on shores, and I’d prefer never to add my dropped tampon applicators to it. Ick! If properly cared for, the Diva Cup will last for 1 year and prices around $30 to $40, making it more cost effective than tampons/pads bought in annually. (I found mine for $33.)
The drawbacks? For one, I was worried by the long list of soaps that you should not use to clean it, aka every type of soap I ‘d at home. But really any mild, unscented soap should be good, or you can get the Diva Wash, specially made because of it. Another dilemma is if you wind up attempting to take it out and wash it privately in a public bathroom. Nobody wants to take that up to the sink. The alternative is easy though: empty it into the toilet, clean it away with some tissue, and good to go until you get home.
For additional questions or concerns I recommend heading over to the Diva Cup FAQ page.
