Addressing issues and answering questions

When we purchased our new spa, Terlam in Fords, NJ, we were mindful that some of the existing members would have concerns with us holding naturist occasions there. The following is an open letter that addresses those concerns.
FKK’s new health club / health spa – Terlam
Dear Terlam Members,
It’s come to our attention that some of the Terlam members and Fords community had questions or concerns regarding the FKK Nude Sunday occasions at Terlam. Please bear with me as I ‘ll do my best to explain what we do in addition to what nudist nude stand for.
FKK is an abbreviation of Nudist Portal. It was founded by Felicity and I in 2011 with the intent of growing naturism and its underlying principals and worth.
Naturism is a philosophy and way of life which is shared by people from all walks of life in every corner of the world. Naturists believe that a person should be judged depending on their character and how they act, not based on their job, how they look or how much money they’ve.
For people who see the world as we do, the naked human body is no more sexual than a clothed one. Actually, we contend that clothing sexualize individuals far more than simple nudity.
We use social nudity to promote recognition. We believe in equality and by removing clothes, we also remove societal stigmas, status symbols and prejudice. Without such status symbols, a janitor becomes indistinguishable from a attorney and hence they are both on an even playing-field.
Some of the important dilemmas that FKK handles as an organization are body image and body acceptance, behavioral issues such as bullying and fat shaming, women’s rights, child pornography, sexuality-related matters and so forth.
Both Felicity and I have been naturists since the day we were born. For us, the sight of the nude human form is nothing black. With that said, we recognize that a number of people may believe otherwise, which is why we’re doing our best to teach the general public about what naturism, in its purest form, actually is.
You might have read that we’re letting teens from a specific age attend our events unaccompanied by an adult. Since there is nothing sexual about our events, make an effort to think of it as though they may be going to some PG film. If they could manage the price of admission then there’s zero reason why they should not be permitted to join. We provide a safe, family-friendly environment for people who share our values and morals.
There has additionally been concern over the nude use of our swimming pool. Naturists know they must shower before entering the pool. This is at every single nudist or naturist site. In fact, swimming bare is much better for many health reasons. Additionally, there are quite several sanitary benefits. Bathing suits commonly contain dirt, detergents, dyes, and other household chemicals. Additionally, most non naturist swimming pools don’t apply a “shower before swimming” policy so chances are that a naturist pool will be far cleaner with less compounds.
When using the work out gear, naturists consistently sit on a towel and use any gear while wearing shoes. This really is far cleaner than sitting on the bikes with sweaty workout cloths. Since naturists are very respectful, most will actually wipe down the machines personally after they use them, even though there’s absolutely no real motive to do this.

Hopefully, this will place most of your issues at ease. I understand that the initial news of these events may have come as a small shock and the reaction is clear.
When we let our imaginations run wild, the dream is normally much more extreme than reality.
If you have any additional problems, I will be more than happy to answer them. I am also willing to come and do a group discussion as well.
With Love,
Jordan & Felicity
